Who is BRE Software?
BRE Software was founded in 1986, initially selling computer software and supplies. BRE Software began buying and selling used video games in 1989 and has been a pioneer in the used video game industry. BRE Software currently operates a Retail Store in Fresno, California on the northwest corner of Blackstone & Nees in the River Park Shopping Mecca for Central California. BRE Software's internet and mail order operations are located at 352 W. Bedford Ave, Suite 104, Fresno, CA 93711.
Do I have to create an account in order to make a trade?
You will be asked to create a free account with a password. This will not require any more information from you than any standard online checkout procedure would.
On future transactions, you will be able to log in with this account and will not have to enter your name and address information again. In the future you will also be able to log in to your account to check on the status of your transactions.
There are no monthly charges.
Can I purchase more than one game at a time?
No. To keep the transaction process simple, you can only purchase one game per transaction.
How many transactions can I create in a given period of time?
You may only have one transaction pending at a time. Once your trade in games have been received and processed, you will be sent a notification email. At that time you may create a new transaction.
Can I trade in more than three games at a time?
No, you can trade in up to 8 games or movies per transaction. How 'desirable' your trade in games are will determine how much of a Trade Fee is left for you to pay. To sell additional games or movies, please see SellVideoGames.com, CashForDVDMovies.com or SellUMDMovies.com.
Can I trade in fewer than 8 games at a time?
Yes, you can trade-in 1 or up to 8 items per transaction. The more items you trade-in, the lower your Trade Fee will be.
Do you accept any trade-ins besides the video games, DVDs or UMDs listed?
No, not at this time. We will have similar sites for Music CDs and other products in the near future.
Why is there an authorization hold on my credit card account?
The authorization hold allows us to charge you for the full price of the game *IF* your trade-in games are not received by the quoted deadline. If you mail out your trade-in items within a few days of receiving the item you ordered, you won't have any problem or any additional charges on your credit card.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Debit credit cards are also accepted, but be aware that the "authorization hold" may show up as funds deducted from your account. The funds will be returned when the authorization hold clears off.
How long will it take to receive my game?
Orders are normally processed within 1-2 business days. Please allow 4-7 business days to receive your game shipment.
How long do I have to send my trade-in games, before my credit card is charged?
You will have 21 days (3 weeks) from the date that your order is processed & shipped out. The cut-off date will be printed on your packing slip which you will receive with your ordered game and postage paid mailer.
What happens if I never send my trade in games?
Your credit card will be charged for the remainder of the game price (the pre-authorized amount quoted on your transaction confirmation page).
What happens if I send the wrong games by mistake, or my games are in poor condition/missing parts?
If your games are not as you described when you created the transaction, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the difference in value caused by missing game discs, game cases, manuals, excessive scratches or other damage.
What happens if my trade-in games are lost in the mail?
The postage paid mailer provided to return your trade-in items covers the cost of basic First Class Mail postage, but does not include tracking or insurance. If you are concerned about your trade-in items being lost or damaged in transit to us, you may add insurance or tracking through your local Post Office at your expense. Alternatively, you may also ship, at your expense, your trade-in items to us via UPS, Federal Express or other common carrier. Please send your items to the address on the packing slip so that your trade-in items will be processed correctly. If your package is not received, or your trade-in items are damaged, your credit card will be charged for the difference in price.
What happens if you receive my trade in games *after* you have already charged my credit card for the full price?
If your games are received in good condition, but after the deadline has passed, we will issue a refund to your credit card for the extra charge. Only the original trade fee will remain on your credit card.
How can I check on the status of my order?
You will be sent a notification email when your order ships out and another email when your trade-in games have been processed. If you have a question or concern about your transaction in the meantime, you can reach us through our Contact Forms. We normally respond to contact form inquiries within 1 - 2 business days. Sorry, in order to keep costs down, we do not have phone operators for this website. All customer service is handled exclusively by E-Mail.
Is it possible to trade-in multiple games for one and not have to pay anything?
Yes, if the value of the games you are trading in is high enough, your entire transaction will be FREE. It's even possible to trade-in one game and have your entire transaction be FREE.
Can I pay by any method other than a credit card?
No, we only accept credit cards (and debit cards) as payment. We DO NOT accept PayPal.
Where can I see a complete listing of what you have in stock?
Click "Browse" to search an entire category at a time. Use "Search" to search for a specific title or keyword.
Is the game I'm receiving an original, licensed, US release?
Yes, we DO NOT sell (or buy) imports, copies, bootlegs, or otherwise pirated merchandise.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
No, we pay to ship your game to you and we provide a postage paid mailer for you to return your trade-in games to us.
How can I update my account information (E-Mail address, shipping address, etc.)?
Login to your account and click "Update Profile" to change your personal account information.
How do I cancel the transaction if I change my mind?
If the game you ordered has not yet been shipped, click "Contact" above and use our Contact Forms to request cancellation of your transaction (be sure to include your transaction number). If your game has already shipped out, then you can just return it unopened once it arrives (enclose a note of explanation and a copy of your packing slip). Your credit card will be charged a $3.50 processing fee for any returned shipments.

What if the game I want to purchase isn't listed on your site?
If the game you wish to purchase is not found on our website, then it is currently out of stock. Please check back as our inventory is updated daily. New Release titles will normally be available to order approximately 2-3 weeks before the release date.
What if the game I want to trade-in isn't listed on your site?
You may only trade in those games which are listed on the website. If there is a very recent release which you don't see listed, please use our Contact Forms and we will update our site with the new title as soon as possible.
What if the game I receive is defective in some way?
If you receive your game and it becomes defective within the first 90 days, use our Contact Forms to let us know and we will E-mail you with instructions to return it for a replacement game of the same title.
Where can I have my order shipped?
We will *ONLY* ship your order to the billing address for your credit card.
If we find that the shipping address you provide does not match your credit card billing address, your order will be put on hold while we contact you for the correct, verifiable billing address.
Why aren't there any prices shown for the trade-in game titles?
TradeXbox360Games.com does not display pricing for each individual title because we are not buying or selling the games or movies individually. TradeXbox360Games.com provides a specific game trade service based on the game or movie you want and the games/movies you no longer want.
